Dotdash
dodtdash visual design
During my summer at Dotdash, I had the opportunity to work alongside the Revenue Product team creating mockups for sellers of our digital products. These mockup requests spanned across all of our verticals, with turn-around times varying from a few hours to a couple of days. While some pages required more simple work like photo selecting, others called for custom illustrations or graphics, which were made through Illustrator and Photoshop. During this process I worked closely with the Creative Strategists and our team’s Art Director to stay on brand for both the vertical and the partnering brand.

In addition to full products, I also had the opportunity to work on ad units for pre-sale in addition to making several on the post-sale end for Hidden Valley Ranch and Arm & Hammer. Often times these products had slightly longer times for turn-around, but still no longer than a week. For the post-sale products I often worked alongside a project manager who aided the back and forth with the clients.
template work
In getting to know the branding of each vertical as the summer went on, my role also began to include updating and creating new Sketch templates for products. I constantly worked on updating and producing templates, including those for our recently attained Brides, our newest product “The Dotdash Original,” and our newly redesigned Verywell Fit.
